You’re Invited to Brooklyn Army Terminal’s Block Party w Busta Rhymes

You’re invited to celebrate Brooklyn Army Terminal’s centennial on Saturday, Sept 15, from 11:30am-8pm. Entry is free, and the summer block party features performances by Red Hook-born Busta Rhymes and Fort Greene native Justine Skye. The all-day event will also showcase product demos from Futureworks NYC companies, a historical A/R experience by NYU Tandon and NYC Media Lab, ArtBuilt and ChaShaMa art exhibits and more. Wine and food vendors include Mums Kitchen, Five Boroughs Brewery, KCBC Brewery, Singlecut.

The BAT Block Party will have celebrated DJ and MC Natasha Diggs, a screening of Dead Pigs, family-friendly activities like kite making and crafts with Singing Winds. Music starts at 3pm and the post-party movie begins at 8:30pm. You’ll also get to meet BAT-based companies like UncommonGoods, Silly Phillie and MOMO Dressing.
