Brooklyn
A/D/O is a creative space in Greenpoint, Brooklyn dedicated to exploring new boundaries in design. At its heart is the Design Academy, which offers a range of programming to professional designers, intended to provoke and invigorate their creative practice. A/D/O offers professional designers access to state-of-the-art workspace at multiple membership levels and allows members to make use of their dedicated desks, fabrication lab, project storage and connection to a network of potential collaborators, mentors and production partners.
Coalition For Queens

Founded in 2011, Coalition for Queens (C4Q) is a community-based nonprofit organization that works to foster the Queens tech ecosystem to increase economic opportunity and transform the world’s most diverse community into a leading hub for innovation and entrepreneurship. C4Q aims to create a tech community that is reflective of society, with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences. C4Q's innovative model uses tech as a vehicle to tackle difficult social problems. C4Q is backed by leaders across technology, business, and philanthropy.
CUNY ASRC

The City University of New York’s Advanced Science Research Center (ASRC) is a University-wide venture that elevates CUNY’s legacy of scientific research and education through initiatives in five distinctive, but increasingly interconnected disciplines: Nanoscience, Photonics, Structural Biology, Neuroscience and Environmental Sciences. The center is designed to promote a unique, interdisciplinary research culture with researchers from each of the initiatives working side by side in the ASRC’s core facilities, sharing equipment that is among the most advanced available.

Collab is a Fabrication Lab and Innovation Studio in New York City that provides space and shared resources to creative entrepreneurs. Collab is known for its vibrant community of 21st century creatives with skill sets that cross a wide range of disciplines --from Architects to Engineers to Design Technologists -- who work on their own endeavors and then collectively on much larger projects, collaborating to bring ambitious experiential work from their imaginations to life. Collab is a resilient community with deep ties in technology, hardware, robotics, innovation and the maker community.

Infinia is a full-service brand strategy and design consultancy that helps clients align brand strategy with business strategy to drive growth. Its key practice areas are in: financial services, health and wellness services, professional services, private equity, non-profit and ventures. Infinia’s “best team” approach means that seasoned professionals with backgrounds in strategy, design, advertising, journalism, marketing and implementation lead and execute all projects. This affords clients the insight and perspective that comes from years of experience, complemented by industry-specific knowledge.
ITAC

ITAC is a non-profit New York City consulting and training organization dedicated to helping NYC manufacturing and technology companies grow their top and bottom lines. ITAC does not simply advise, it also provides training and implementation expertise on a variety of topics that make companies more competitive. ITAC works with small and mid-size manufacturers throughout the five boroughs, and helps them expand into new markets, create innovative products, develop their customer base, find new partners, improve their processes and develop sustainable practices.
NEW INC

NEW INC was founded by the New Museum in 2014 and is the first museum-led cultural incubator dedicated to supporting innovation, collaboration, and entrepreneurship across art, design, and technology. It occupies eight thousand square feet of dedicated office, workshop, social, and presentation space, and each year selects an outstanding interdisciplinary community of one hundred members who are investigating new ideas and developing sustainable practices. NEW INC is a creative ecosystem that aims to foster cultural value, not just capital value.
NY Designs
Queens
NYDesigns is an economic development program of the City University of New York (CUNY) at LaGuardia Community College that catalyzes growth for small businesses and entrepreneurs in the design, fabrication, technology and maker spaces. NYDesigns pursues this mission by distributing their work across three fundamental concentrations: business incubation, fabrication, and advocacy. NYDesigns is proudly located in Long Island City, Queens.
MIT CoLab
The Community Innovators Lab (CoLab) is a center for planning and development within the MIT Department of Urban Studies and Planning (DUSP). CoLab supports the development and use of knowledge from excluded communities to deepen civic engagement, improve community practice, inform policy, mobilize community assets, and generate shared wealth. CoLab believes that community knowledge can drive powerful innovation and can help make markets an arena for supporting social justice. CoLab facilitates the interchange of knowledge and resources between MIT and community organizations. CoLab engages students to be practitioners of this approach to community change and sustainability.
Pratt BF+DA

The Brooklyn Fashion + Design Accelerator is a new initiative launched by Pratt Institute that provides designers with the resources they need to transform their ideas into successful businesses. The BF+DA brings high-potential fashion designers, industrial designers and technologists together under one roof. Located between Bed-Stuy and South Williamsburg, the Brooklyn Fashion + Design Accelerator provides over 21,000 square feet of 21st century production and work space where NYC designers/makers grow their start-ups into viable businesses, integrating local manufacturing and an ethical supply chain into their bottom line.

SecondMuse is an innovation and collaboration agency that co-creates prosperity by applying the art and science of collaboration to solve complex problems. Collaboration enables SecondMuse to work with their clients to co-create and co-design between countries, organizations, communities and individuals to solve tough business and societal challenges. With a team based in North America, Europe, Central America, Australia and Asia, SecondMuse supports 300 clients and partners including Fortune 500 companies, national and local governments, multi-lateral organizations and non-profits. SecondMuse has become internationally known for delivering cutting-edge innovations, partnerships and solutions.
SI MakerSpace

Founded in 2013, Staten Island MakerSpace is a non-profit, STEAM education and community innovation center offering low-cost access to individuals and groups to the tools, equipment, and resources in a 6000 sq ft facility. Becoming a member of the SI MakerSpace is not just about using the tools, equipment and work spaces. It is about becoming a member of a creative community. The members are a mixture of artists, engineers, entrepreneurs, computer geeks, photographers, filmmakers, sculptors, skilled craftspeople, and hobbyists who like to tinker. The thing that all of these people have in common is a shared desire to make, create, invent, and explore.

Voodoo Manufacturing is a young startup on a big mission to change the way things are manufactured. Voodoo is an automated 3D printing factory capable of mass-producing plastic parts and products with unprecedented speed and flexibility With 128-desktop 3D printer factory, Voodoo helps companies bridge the gap between their first prototype and their first high volume production run (10,000+ units). Voodoo has worked with companies including Intel, Universal Studios, SyFy Channel, Autodesk, Viacom, Chipotle, and a few more we can’t even talk about! Voodoo has unlocked an entirely new market in the world of manufacturing – affordable high-volume 3D printing.
Zahn Innovation Center

Zahn Innovation Center is an incubator, an applied education, and a community of changemakers. Zahn is a startup incubator located at the City College of New York offering co-working space and an array of resources including: annual competitions, a startup bootcamp, mentorship and pro-bono services, networking opportunities, and rapid prototyping facilities. Zahn inspires CCNY students to approach their education as changemakers, transforming classroom learning into real-world application.
